Cynthia Meeks

Mrs. Meeks teaches HS Algebra I, junior high algebra, and pre-algebra for 7th, 8th and 9th grades at NWA Classical Academy in Bentonville, Arkansas. This is Mrs. Meeks’ first year teaching for Responsive Education, and her 2nd year teaching. In the most recent years, she has privately tutored students in pre-algebra and algebra. She has been a market analyst for a commercial real estate company in Portland, Oregon where she published quarterly reports for the company in which she was employed. For 12 years Mrs. Meeks wrote technical manuals for web-interfaced systems that were developed for the State of Texas and the State of Oklahoma, as well as, trained state workers who trained the staff to utilize the various systems designed for their agencies. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education and her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from University of North Texas. Mrs. Meeks is certified to teach 1st -8th grades in Arkansas and Texas, and is an Arkansas Qualified Teacher of mathematics. She spends her spare time with her husband of 12 years, her son, who attends NWA Classical Academy, and their family pets. Reading, travelling and cooking are a few of her favorite past times.
